Real Mom Reset

🌞 Why a Summer Reset Matters

Summer has this funny way of making us feel like we should be thriving while we’re actually just trying to keep up. School’s out, work’s still workin’, and your mental load never lets up. A Real Mom Reset is about:

  • Getting honest about what’s not working
  • Letting go of unnecessary pressure
  • Creating space for what you actually want to do

And the best part? You can reset without a total life overhaul.

🔄 What I’m Resetting This June

Here are a few areas I’m focusing on in my personal reset—use this list for inspo or tweak it to fit your life:

1. My Morning Flow

Instead of forcing a 5 AM wake-up, I’m leaning into a realistic routine that works with my current energy (hello, pregnancy fatigue!). I work from home full time so I am at the mercy of work schedule, but as we transition to summer camp, I can adjust how we prep in the morning.

2. Content Creation Without Burnout

I’m bringing blogging and social back into alignment with my life—less pressure to go viral, more focus on long-form content that pays off over time. Getting on a schedule where I can batch content, while leaving creative freedom for the type of content I feel like making is a game changer!

3. Systems Over Scrambling

From pre-packed snacks to batching blog content, I’m building micro-systems that reduce decision fatigue. I added a magnetic chore board to my fridge so that my son understands what’s expected of him and I hold myself accountable for my chores as well.

4. Body + Home Care

Daily movement, better hydration, and clearing clutter—not perfectly, but intentionally.

📊 How You Can Reset Too

You don’t need a planner, a fresh wardrobe, or a new app to reset. Here’s how to start your own summer comeback:

  • Pick 2–3 areas that feel the most out of sync
  • Write one goal for each (keep it simple!)
  • Set up tiny systems to support your goal (ex: put your water bottle by your bed at night)
  • Check in weekly and allow flexibility—this is a reset, not a rigid routine

🌟 Real Talk Before You Go

This isn’t about hustle culture or aesthetic perfection. It’s about reconnecting with your rhythm, reclaiming your peace, and remembering that even a small shift counts.

If you’re ready to feel more clear, more confident, and more like you again, this summer is the perfect time to start.

Your comeback doesn’t have to wait for January.
